Metro Boomin, And Travis Scott Have That ‘Cinderella’ Drip On Their New Collab
Entertainment

Future and Metro Boomin have released their collaborative album titled “We Don’t Trust You.”

For the first time ever, Future, Metro Boomin, and Travis Scott performed the entirety of their legendary song “Cinderella.”

During Sunday’s (March 17) Rolling Loud LA performance by Future Hendrix and Young Metro, the group performed a rendition of the song.

The chorus of the unreleased song, “Racks up, racks stuck together/ Sip red, talk to the devil/ Rosetta stones forever/ High yellow, canary yellow/ Hot chocolate, Cinderella,” is sung by Future.

A preview of the song was first released in 2022 on the opening night of Travis Scott’s seven-night “Road To Utopia” residency at the Zouk nightclub in Las Vegas.

Back in January, Young Metro offered fans the chance to hear a little clip of the lovely song featuring Pluto’s seductive vocals.

The previously unheard song clip, also known as “Family Forever,” had the artists dancing and a Metro caption that said, “Hot chocolate cinderella.”

The song’s release was begged for by fans who filled Metro’s responses, suggesting that they were enthusiastic about the upcoming collaboration.

Fans have been demanding a recorded version of the song ever since it originally surfaced. They won’t have to wait long, since it’s said that the song will appear on the eagerly anticipated collaborative album WE DON’T TRUST YOU by Future and Metro Boomin.

The legendary pair cued up songs from the Atlanta warbler, including “Mask Off,” “Wicked,” “Stick Talk,” and more, aside from the WE DON’T TRUST YOU tunes. The iconic pair also performed classic hits, like “Karate Chop” and “Monster,” which are mainstays on mixtapes.

Don Toliver and Quavo were among the other notable attendees during the performance, assisting Metro in performing songs from HEROES & VILLAINS.

On March 22, the album WE DON’T TRUST YOU will be made available. On April 12, the second album will be made available. Fans may not have wanted to hold their breath for the release of the album till recently.

The producer, who was born in St. Louis, stated to FLAUNT back in March 2023 that he intended to release his joint album with his old pal Future the same year.

Without a doubt. Regarding the likelihood of the combined LP touching down within the year, he declared, “I would wager on it.” “I’d put money on it without a doubt.”

However as per reports, the pair has now disclosed some more information and verified the release dates for the two projects.

Future and Metro Boomin Finally Feed the Fans:

Metro and Future released their 17-song album We Don’t Trust You on Friday, March 22, to start off the first week of spring. The song combines Metro’s booming sounds with the rapper’s trap-inspired lyricism.

“Like That” and “Seen It All” among the album’s early standouts, while guest features Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Rick Ross, and The Weeknd make appearances. Kendrick subtly criticizes J. Cole and Drake in “Like That.” Future raps over Metro Boomin’s version of Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm” track on “Seen It All.”

“If Young Metro don’t trust you, I’m gon’ shoot you,” was Future’s producer tag for Metro, and it inspired the album title. This is the first album of the two-album release. The second edition of We Don’t Trust You by Metro and the future will be available on April 12.

For more than a year, the two musicians have kept fans on the edge of their seats with their tweets about the record. In the past, Metro even made light of the fact that he couldn’t complete the project until he defeated a video game. Even if incidents like that would have annoyed some of their fans, there was an overwhelming lack of communication on the release date of the album or what to anticipate from the endeavor.

That all ended on March 8, when Metro and Future made the album title and release dates official. In the teaser, they ride out in style as they enter the desert dressed in their nicest outfits, with the late great Prodigy providing the soundtrack full of wise words.
